It's that time of the year when Christmas tree lots start popping up all over town, and you spot random cars driving around with trees just chilling on top.
Decorating a tree has always been one of my favorite parts of Christmas, getting it home and actually making it stand up in that stupid Christmas Tree stand is another thing. Before I moved into my own house I never realized what a pain in the butt it is to go out and get a tree, haul it home, shove it through the tiny doorway, prop it up into a tree stand and hope it doesn't fall over after you've placed all your ornaments on it. Last year it literally took an hour just to get my poor Noble Fir to stand upright. SO-- this year I threw caution into the wind and bought myself a fake tree. (Pre-lit even. No more stringing lights for me!) At first I wasn't too sure I liked the idea of having a fake tree, so I weighed the pros and cons and after realizing that the pros well out weighed the cons I found a decently priced tree and brought it home! Now that it's all decorated, I really think I made the right decision. No more tree shopping for me! No more hauling, no more struggle to keep it up. It's super simple to put together, and I think it could pass for the real thing (except there's no smell.) Honestly, I don't care much about the smell anyways..
What do you think? Could it pass for a real tree in the picture?
